As it was written in the news, Bam city in Iran was stricken by a strong earthquake on the 26th of December 2003. Meanwhile a trips to Iran to collect data was conducted. A part of this trip was spent in Tehran in order to establish contacts with the offices in charge for the reconstruction of The Bam city, namely:

As the second part of the trip, the researcher has attended a workshop on the “Future of the reconstruction process” in Bam and was able to visit the city one and half year after earthquake and take some pictures of the current statue of the work. The data structure, containing information on the building stock, aerial photos and data on the socio-economical consequences of the mentioned earthquake is partly developed.
